A residential development named Bartram's Walk is currently in the planning stages and will extend from the end of Wolfe Cove Road to Town Mountain Road.  The initial phase will result in the development of 117 lots on 175+ acres at the end of Wolfe Cove.  This is one of 23 developments submitted to Buncombe County in a rush to beat the county's new steep slope development ordinance that took effect July 1.
